3. Halloween Fun Corsicana knows how to celebrate Halloween in style! From spooky haunted houses to family-friendly pumpkin patches, you'll find a wide range of Halloween-themed events throughout the month of October. • Oct. 1 is opening day to find the varieties of gourds, jacks, and fairytales and mini pumpkins from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the weekdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Corsicana Pumpkin Patch, Located at The Square Root 2, 222 N. Main St.

• Corsicana Parks and Rec. alongside Pioneer Village will present Out On The Porch performance Series highlighting Courtney and The SideTracks, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17. Pioneer Village is the location at 912 W. Park Ave. The Taco Station Food Truck will be on-site and dancing in the street will be enjoyed with music from Favorites from yesterday and today, consisting of both Pop and Classic Rock. The admission is free to the public so bring lawn chairs to take in all the live entertainment. Call Curator Deb at 903-654-4846 for information or details.

• Witches Night Out October 19th- Downtown Corsicana

• Join in the fun for Pumpkin Patch’s Kids Night Out scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24. Bring the entire family to see the large City of Corsicana’s Fire Engine and Police Department’s Swat Truck, Face Painting and Pumpkin Bowling will be offered by Parks and Recreation along with Hot Dogs, Chips, Drinks and a fun Photo-Op Board provided by Guild Mortgage Company and City Real-Estate. The Kids Night Out Event is free to the public and will be a blast to attend.

• Boo On the Block will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31 in Downtown Corsicana with all local businesses participating. Boo On The Block is weather permitting and photos will be in the Pocket Park. Park and Recreation will have a Haunted Hayride; HEB is sponsoring a Costume Contest; Texas Tiny Teeth will have fang toothbrushes for the children along with free popcorn and a prize wheel sponsored by VOICE; The Square Root 2 will host a Pumpkin Carving Contest and The Corsicana Public Library will also be passing out candy as well. Trick or Treating at all the Downtown Businesses is always enjoyed by many.
